Emergency Contraception

Emergency Contraception, also known as "the morning after pill," is taken after intercourse to prevent pregnancy. It does not terminate an existing pregnancy. We provide it up to 100 hours (4 days) after unprotected intercourse, though it is more effective the sooner it is taken.  We offer emergency contraception over the counter and without an appointment.
